2025 Lexington-Concord Commemorative Half –
Production Blog
All are over-struck on genuine US Mint silver Lexington-Concord Half Dollars of 1925.
2025 is the 250th (Semiquincentennial) anniversary of the Revolutionary War Lexingon-Concord campaigns.
The over-striking changes the original date from “1775-1925” to “1775-2025” and the word “SESQUICENTENNIAL” to “SEMIQUINCENTENNIAL”.
NOTE: These are NOT endorsed by the US Treasury. Defacing of US coins is legal so long as the defacement isn't for fraudulent purposes.
