2024 Amazonian Assay Office – Production Blog

“Amazonian” patterns were originally produced in the early 1870s. Today, those coins are highly-valued and priced out of the range of most collectors.
None were originally minted with an Assay Office style reverse.

These first 16 (proof-like) show significant die scratching and numerous
